The main characters of the six episodes of this movie are big personalities of the past, both famous and unknown who deal with the cruel reality of their times: misunderstood geniuses, not acknowledged artists, life masters obliged to live in poverty: Van Gogh (the most unlucky artist), Columbus (who had to work hard before he found someone incline to give him the famous three caravels), Riquet (French architect at the service of King Louis XIV) Galileo Galilei (who, as well, had to give private lessons in order to earn his living), Isabella Andreini (actress of the Comedy of Arts), the French film director of the beginning of the century Georges Melies (who was obliged to sell the stage’s objects in order to get a meal).

We all go to sleep, but what happens when we dream? Where do we go? Each time it’s a travel whose traces remain in memory as scattered images, living emotions and as a sense of wonder for this mysterious parallel life, which gives us the tastes of our Visionary Age.
That’s a young age, without the defenses of the waking life and with all the senses awake and vulnerable to emotions, both painful and wonderful.
The Visionary Age is an ironical meeting path, which touches different kinds of emotions and in which the dreamer bumps into surreal, metaphorical and comical, situations and characters that behave like Chinese boxes giving an end to the movie but not to the stories told. Who has actually dreamt? Who’s awake? Then, is he/she actually awake?

Il rifiuto dei Rifiuti - The Garbage Waste

The garbage problem is one of the big planetary emergencies and cities often live together with mountains of rubbish left on the streets where children play.
The Magician Recycle teaches Chiara and Alessandro, who had already divided rubbish among paper, plastics and cans, that the same rubbish may be given new life and be reused reducing the weight of garbage in our lives.
